About

Who

We

Are

We are the American Jewish veterans' organization established in 1896 by Civil War veterans to prove that Jews have proudly served this country since the Revolutionary Era. We are the oldest congressionally chartered Veterans Organization with an estimated 15,000 members nationwide, ranging from World War II to current conflicts and active duty personnel.  JWV acts as the voice for Jewish military veterans and as a liaison with other veterans groups.

The JWV put out a press release about our support for the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation and its push to get lawmakers to pass the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Location Act.  Please feel free to use this letter to contact your Senators and Representatives in order to help pass this legislation.  You can find out more about the Global War on Terrorism Memorial and the legislation at https://www.gwotmemorialfoundation.org/.

"Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices."
